MILL VALLEY SCHOOL DISTRICT
Speech & Language Pathologist
2008-2009 School Year

Part-time (2-3 days per week) or Full-time with a 50% job share with neighboring Larkspur School District

Qualifications:

  • Master's level clinician, CCC required

  • Knowledge of current theory and instructional practices

  • Experience at K-8 grade level with school-based speech/language intervention

  • Understanding of a variety of current speech/language assessments 

  • Knowledge and experience working with students on the autism spectrum 

  • Knowledge and ability to work with students on social language skills (pragmatics)

  • Prepared to work with a wide variety of pediatric communication disorders

  • Experience assessing students for special education eligibility for speech/language

  • Willing to work closely with a team of professionals and parents in a small public school district

Required:  Valid California credential with authorization for Clinical or Rehabilitative Services--Language, Speech and Hearing

Salary:  Appropriate placement on the certificated salary schedule based on qualifications and experience + 10 days/Per Diem Stipend prorated based on FTE
