Mill Valley School District Resolution # 4-03/04: CERTIFICATED ASSIGNMENT AUTHORIZATION

October 8, 2003

WHEREAS, when necessary, EC 44256(b) and 44258.2 allow, by resolution of the governing board, the holder of a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential or Single Subject Teaching Credential to teach, with his or her consent, any subject in departmentalized classes below grade 9 if the teacher has completed twelve semester units, or six upper division or graduate semester units of course work at an accredited institution, in the subject to be taught;

NOW, IT IS RESOLVED that the Mill Valley School District Board of Trustees authorizes the following teachers to hold the following assignments:

• Kathie Fischer 7th grade Science
• Ellen Torrey 6th grade Social Studies
• Dede Sabbag 6th grade Science
• Anna Stearns K-5 Music

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Mill Valley School District Board of Trustees at a meeting held on the 8th day of October, 2003, by the following vote:
