PERSONNEL
- Interview supt. search consultants; Harden resignation |
The Board
conducted separate interviews with consultants from two firms that
specialize in superintendent searches: 1) Jake Abbott of Leadership
Associates and 2) Del Alberti of CSBA Executive Search Services.
Each consultant reviewed his experience, firm, timeline and process for
conducting a search for a new superintendent effective July 1,
2005. It was announced that Laurie Harden, Assistant
Superintendent for Business Services, had just informed the Board of her
decision to leave the District for a position in the Novato Unified
School District, effective February 28, 2005. Ms. Harden said that
this was a great opportunity for her. The Board expressed
appreciation to Ms. Harden for her work in the District and leaving it
in good financial condition. It is anticipated that an interim
business official will be hired, with the new superintendent
participating in the hiring of a
new CBO. Board and audience discussion followed, with the following action taken. |
