| CALL TO ORDER | The Mill Valley School District Board of Trustees, acting as the Governing Board of the Mill Valley School District, met in special session at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, May 31, 2005, at the Mill Valley School District Administrative Office, 411 Sycamore Avenue, Mill Valley, CA. President Reynolds called the meeting to order at 6:10 PM and announced that Mr. Khademi was absent. |
| PERSONNEL; Supt app't: K. Benny | As previously announced, the Board approved the intent to offer a contract to Ken Benny as Superintendent effective July 1, 2005. This meeting was called to approve Mr. Benny's appointment and employment contract. |
| -Motion: appointment & contract | M/S/C Swartz/Murphy (4-0) to appoint Kenneth M. Benny as Superintendent, effective July 1, 2005 and to approve his employment contract from July 1, 2005-June 30, 2008. |

ADJOURNMENT |
Ms. Reynolds announced that the next regular meeting of the Board will be on Wednesday, June 8, 2005 at 7:00 PM at the Mill Valley School District Administrative Office and adjourned the meeting at 6:40 PM . |
