| CALL TO ORDER
|
The Mill Valley School District Board of
Trustees, acting as the Governing Board of the Mill Valley School
District, met in special session at 1:00 PM on Monday, June 6, 2005, at the Mill Valley
Inn Conference Room, 165 Throckmorton Avenue, Mill Valley,
CA. President Reynolds called the meeting to order at 1:05 PM. |
| PERSONNEL
- credential waiver |
The
Board considered waiving Education Code §35028 regarding
Superintendent's credential requirements, as Superintendent-appointee
Ken Benny is coming to the District from out of state. As more
information is needed regarding this matter, the following action was
taken. |

Motion; defer waiver action |
M/S/C
(5-0) to defer decision regarding waiver of Education Code §35028
until June 15, 2005 meeting, pending further clarification. |
| CLOSED
SESSION |
As there
were no communications to the Board, the meeting was recessed to Closed
Session at 1:10 PM, to consider Public Employee Performance Evaluation; Title:
Superintendent (Gov. Code
§54957). |
| RECONVENE
& REPORT OUT |
Ms.
Reynolds reconvened the meeting to Public Session at 7:00 PM and
announced that the Board had met with Mr. Benny and facilitator Jim
Brown to discuss superintendent performance goals and that no action was taken in Closed Session. |

ADJOURNMENT
|
Ms. Reynolds announced
that the next
regular meeting of the Board will be on Wednesday, June 8, 2005 at 7:00 PM at
the Mill Valley School District Administrative Office and adjourned the meeting at
7:00 PM . |
