The parents of Daniel Solis appeared
before the Board to appeal the Superintendent's denial of an
interdistrict transfer for Daniel for 2000-01. The Superintendent
denied the transfer request according to policy regarding families that
move from Mill Valley, and due to space constraints at the third grade
level. After careful consideration, the Board upheld the
Superintendent's denial, citing space concerns and our Class Size
Reduction Program. The family was informed that they may appeal this denial
to the Marin County Board of Education. |
