| CALL TO ORDER | The Mill Valley School District Board of Trustees, acting as the Governing Board of the Mill Valley School District, met in special session at 6:30 PM on Monday, January 22, 2001 at the Mill Valley School District Administrative Office, 411 Sycamore Avenue, Mill Valley, CA. Vice-President Freiberg called the meeting to order at 6:39 PM and announced that Mr. Gensburg and Ms. Spencer were absent due to other commitments. |
| PUBLIC COMMENT / CLOSED SESSION | As there was no public comment, the meeting was adjourned to Closed Session at 6:40 PM. |
| RECONVENE & REPORT OUT Anticipated litigation |
Mr. Freiberg reconvened the meeting at 6:52 PM and reported that the Board had met with Ms. Young, Ms. Harden and Project Manager David Harding regarding anticipated litigation, one case, pursuant to subsection (b) of Gov. Code §54956.9. The following action was taken. |
| - Motion: Reject Maggiora & Ghilotti claim | M/S/C Khademi/Kennedy (3-0) to reject claim by Maggiora & Ghilotti, Inc. regarding Strawberry Point School modernization project. |
| ADJOURNMENT | Mr. Freiberg announced that the next regularly scheduled board meeting will be at Mill Valley School District Administrative Office at 7:00 on Monday, January 22, 2001 and adjourned the meeting at 6:53 PM. |
