| CALL TO ORDER | The Mill Valley School District Board of Trustees, acting as the Governing Board of the Mill Valley School District, met in special session at 3:00 PM on Thursday, February 1, 2001 at the Mill Valley School District Administrative Office, 411 Sycamore Avenue, Mill Valley, CA. President Gensburg called the meeting to order at 3:44 PM in order to have a quorum and announced that Ms. Kennedy and Ms. Spencer were absent due to other commitments. |
| PUBLIC COMMENT / CLOSED SESSION | As there was no public comment, the meeting was adjourned to Closed Session at 3:45 PM. |
| RECONVENE & REPORT OUT Anticipated litigation |
Mr. Gensburg reconvened the meeting at 3:48 PM and reported that the Board had met regarding anticipated litigation, one case, pursuant to subsection (b) of Gov. Code §54956.9. The following action was taken. |
| - Motion: Maggiora & Ghilotti settlement | M/S/C Khademi/Freiberg (3-0) to approve proposed settlement with Maggiora & Ghilotti, Inc. for all outstanding site work construction issues regarding Strawberry Point School modernization project. |
| ADJOURNMENT | Mr. Gensburg announced that the next regularly scheduled board meeting will be at Tamalpais Valley School at 7:00 on Monday, February 12, 2001 and adjourned the meeting at 3:49 PM. |
