| CALL TO ORDER | The Mill Valley School District Board of Trustees, acting as the Governing Board of the Mill Valley School District, met in special session at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, March 21, 2001 at the Mill Valley School District Administrative Office, 411 Sycamore Avenue, Mill Valley, CA. President Gensburg called the meeting to order at 7:03 PM. |
| APPROVAL OF AGENDA | M/S/C Freiberg/Kennedy (5-0) to approve agenda. |
| SPECIAL SESSION Interview Trustee Candidates |
Following written guidelines, Mr. Gensburg began the session for the Board to appoint a replacement for the position vacated by trustee Julie Kennedy. The two candidates were asked the same questions by the Board, Paula Reynolds in person, and Brian Swartz, via teleconference call. Discussion and comments followed the question period. Mr. Gensburg thanked Ms. Reynolds and Mr. Swartz for applying for the position, saying that both were highly qualified individuals. |
| - Motion: appoint P. Reynolds | M/S/C Freiberg/Spencer (5-0) to appoint Paula Reynolds as trustee, effective April 1, 2001-November 2001. |
| ADJOURNMENT | Mr. Gensburg announced that the next regularly scheduled board meeting will be at Mill Valley Middle School beginning at 7:00 PM on Monday, March 26, 2001, with a reception for outgoing trustee Kennedy from 7-7:30 PM and the budget study session beginning at 7:30 PM. The meeting was adjourned at 8:21 PM. |
