| CALL TO ORDER | The Mill Valley School District Board of Trustees, acting as the Governing Board of the Mill Valley School District, met in special session at 4:00 PM on Monday, March 4, 2002 at the Mill Valley School District Administrative Office, 411 Sycamore Avenue, Mill Valley, CA. President called the meeting to order at 4:05 PM. |

As there was no public comment, the meeting was recessed to Closed Session at 4:05 PM. |
| RECONVENE & REPORT OUT - Negotiations - Public Employees |
Mr. Freiberg reconvened the meeting to Open Session at 6:05 PM. He reported that the Board met with Labor Negotiator Bill Kay, pursuant to Gov. Code §54957.6. No reportable action was taken. The Board also met with Superintendent Young to discuss Public Employee Discipline/Dismissal/Release, pursuant to Gov. Code §54957. No reportable action was taken. |
| COMMUNICATIONS | There were no communications to the Governing Board. |
| BOARD/SUP'T RETREAT | The Board and Superintendent met in a retreat to continue discussion regarding Governance Team Organization and Structures. |
| ADJOURNMENT | Mr. Freiberg announced that the next regular Board meeting will be at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, March 13, 2002, at Strawberry Point School and adjourned the meeting at 8:00 PM. |
