| CALL TO ORDER | The Mill Valley School District Board of Trustees, acting as the Governing Board of the Mill Valley School District, met in special session at 4:30 PM on Wednesday, November 7, 2001 at Mill Valley School District Administrative Office, 411 Sycamore Avenue, Mill Valley, CA. President Gensburg called the meeting to order at 4:34 PM. |

| Public Comment | There was no public comment. |
| Recess | The meeting was recessed to Closed Session at 4:35 PM |
| RECONVENE/REPORT OUT | Mr. Gensburg reconvened the meeting to Public Session at 6:30 PM and reported that the Board had met in Closed Session to confer with labor negotiator Barbara Young, pursuant to Gov. Code §54957.6. No reportable action was taken. |
| COMMUNICATIONS | There were no communications to the Governing Board. |
| BOARD RETREAT | The Board and Superintendent held a general discussion regarding board meeting procedures and protocols. |
| ADJOURNMENT | Mr. Gensburg announced that the next regular Board meeting will be at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, November 14, 2001, at Mill Valley School District Administrative Office and adjourned the meeting at 7:15 PM. |
