| CALL TO ORDER | The Mill Valley School District Board of Trustees, acting as the Governing Board of the Mill Valley School District, met in special session at 10:00 PM on Wednesday, December 12, 2001 at Mill Valley School District Administrative Office, 411 Sycamore Avenue, Mill Valley, CA. President Freiberg called the meeting to order at 10:00 PM and announced that Mr. Khademi was absent. |

| Recess | The meeting was recessed to Closed Session at 10:01 PM |
| RECONVENE/REPORT OUT Student discipline matter |
Mr. Freiberg reconvened the meeting to Public Session at 10:20 PM and reported that the Board had met in Closed Session for Consideration of Student Expulsion, pursuant to Education Code §48918(c). He reported that the following action was taken. |
| -Motion: student expulsion | M/S/C Gensburg/Reynolds (4-0) to expel Student "01/02-1" from the Mill Valley School District, with the expulsion suspended subject to the successful completion of a rehabilitation agreement. |
| ADJOURNMENT | Mr. Freiberg announced that the next regular Board meeting will be at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, January 9, 2002, at Mill Valley School District Administrative Office and adjourned the meeting at 10:20 PM. |
