| 1. CALL TO ORDER | The Mill Valley School District Board of Trustees, acting as the Governing Board of the Mill Valley School District, met in special session at 6:30 PM on Monday, March 17, 2003 at the Mill Valley School District Administrative Office, 411 Sycamore Avenue, Mill Valley, CA. President Khademi called the meeting to order at 6:35 PM. |
| 2. APPROVE AGENDA | M/S/C Freiberg/Gensburg (5-0) to approve agenda. |
| 3. CLOSED SESSION Public Employee app't; Labor Negotiator conf. |
As there was no public comment, the meeting was recessed to Closed Session at 6:36 PM for the Board to consider Public Employee Appointment (Gov. Code §54957); Title: Principal. The Board also met in Conference with Labor Negotiator (Gov. Code §54957.6); Agency Negotiator: Bill Kay. |
| 4. RECONVENE & REPORT | Mr. Khademi reconvened the public meeting at 9:28 PM and reported that no reportable action regarding labor negotiations was taken in Closed Session, and that the following action was taken regarding public employee appointment. |
| - Motion: EM Principal appointment - Tolson | M/S/C Freiberg/Swartz (5-0) to appoint Carly Tolson as Edna Maguire Principal, effective July 1, 2003. |
| 5. ADJOURNMENT | Mr. Khademi announced that the next regular Board meeting will be at 5:30 PM on Wednesday, March 19, 2003 at the District Administrative Office and adjourned the meeting at 9:30 PM. |
