| 1. CALL TO ORDER | The Mill Valley School District Board of Trustees, acting as the Governing Board of the Mill Valley School District, met in special session at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, April 29, 2003 at the Mill Valley School District Administrative Office, 411 Sycamore Avenue, Mill Valley, CA. President Khademi called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM. |
| 2. APPROVAL OF AGENDA | M/S/C Freiberg/Gengsburg (5-0) to approve agenda. |
| 3. CLOSED SESSION A. Public Comment |
Community member Christa Curtin-Savala spoke to the Board regarding the term of the lease with Marin Horizon School. |
| B.1. Recess - Closed session; labor negotiations; real property negotiation | Mr. Khademi recessed the meeting to Closed Session at 6:05 PM for Conference with Labor Negotiator Bill Kay (Gov. Code §54957.6); Employee Organizations: MVTA; CSEA - Ch. 360; unrepresented employees. The Board also had Conference with Real Property Negotiator (Gov. Code §54956.7); Property: 305 Montford Avenue, Mill Valley, CA; Names of negotiating parties: Mill Valley School District & Marin Horizon School; Under negotiation: Price & Terms of Payment. |
| 4. RECONVENE & REPORT | Mr. Khademi reconvened the meeting at 7:40 PM and reported that the Board developed parameters for fulfilling its collective bargaining responsibilities with MVTA and CSEA; and that no action was taken regarding the real property negotiations. |
| 5. ADJOURNMENT | Mr. Khademi announced that the next regular Board meeting will be at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, May 7, 2003 at Park School and adjourned the meeting at 7:42 PM. |
