| CALL TO ORDER |
The Mill Valley School District Board of Trustees, acting as the Governing Board of the Mill Valley School District, met in special session at 8:00 AM on Monday, November 24, 2003 at the Mill Valley School District Administrative Office, 411 Sycamore Avenue, Mill Valley, CA. President Khademi called the meeting to order at 8:04 AM and announced that Mr. Swartz was out of town and that Mr. Gensburg had previous commitment. |
| COMMUNICATIONS TO BOARD | Superintendent Young announced that a Parcel Tax Advisory report will be added to the December meeting agenda. |
| BUSINESS & FISCAL - Charter School | The Special Meeting was called to consider the re-activation of the timeline for the Mill Valley Charter School petition. Ms. Young announced that prior to the meeting today, she received a notice from Lead Petitioner Christa Curtin-Savala that the charter school was withdrawing its petition to the Mill Valley School District. The following action was taken. |
| - Motion; Charter petition withdrawn | M/S/C Freiberg/Reynolds (3-0) to accept the withdrawal of the Mill Valley Charter School petition, effective November 24, 2003 at 12:00 AM. |
| ADJOURNMENT | Mr. Khademi adjourned the meeting at 8:23 AM and announced that the next regular meeting will be December 10, 2003 beginning at 6:30 PM with a reception for outgoing Trustee Gensburg, with the meeting beginning at 7:00 PM. |
