| CALL TO ORDER |
The Mill Valley School District Board of Trustees, acting as the Governing Board of the Mill Valley School District, met in special session at 3:00 PM on Monday, December 8, 2003 at the Mill Valley School District Administrative Office, 411 Sycamore Avenue, Mill Valley, CA. President Khademi called the meeting to order at 3:05 PM and announced that Mr. Swartz was absent due to prior commitment. |
| CLOSED SESSION - Expulsion Hearing |
As there was no public comment, the meeting was recessed to Closed Session for Board consideration of a Student Expulsion, pursuant to Education Code §48918. At the conclusion of the hearing at 3:30 PM, the Board recessed to deliberate. |
| RECONVENE & REPORT | The meeting was reconvened to Open Session at 3:45 PM, with the following action taken. |
| - Motion; Expel Student #03/04-3 | M/S/C Reynolds/Gensburg (4-0) to uphold the administration recommendation to expel Student #03/04-3 from the Mill Valley School District, effective immediately and through the 2003-04 school year. |
| ADJOURNMENT | Mr. Khademi adjourned the meeting at 3:50 PM and announced that the next regular meeting will be December 10, 2003 beginning at 6:30 PM with a reception for outgoing Trustee Gensburg, with the meeting beginning at 7:00 PM. |
