Funding Alliance

As a Basic Aid School District, MVSD is highly dependent on local sources of revenue that include property taxes, parcel taxes, and the generous support of  the Mill Valley Community Schools Foundation (KIDDO!) and the PTAs of each local school.  The District Funding Alliance is represented by the District Superintendent, District Trustee Liaison, KIDDO! Executive Director, KIDDO! Board Chair, and the PTA Council President and Vice President.  The alliance collaborates to develop better strategies that improve coordination, communication and collaboration among the District, KIDDO! and PTAs specifically related to funding and fundraising.
