This comprehensive web site was created by Ms. Eagle's 8th grade science classes at Mill Valley Middle School in Mill Valley, California. Focus on Physical Science is the goal of the California State Science Content Standards. The chemistry portion of these standards includes the study of: Structure of Matter, The Periodic Table, Chemical Reactions and the Chemistry of Living Systems. Students began with an introduction to atoms and molecules. Continuing on with elements, mixtures, and compounds, students were assigned an element to research and develop a web page of information about that element.
