History:
The man who founded this
precious metal was a man by the name
of Julius
Scaliger. He
found the metal in Italy in the year of 1735. It was first
found in gold mines up to 21 pound nuggets. That's a whole
lot of Platinum! This metal is much rarer than gold. That is
why it is so exspensive.

Interesting
facts:
Believe it or not, there
are some interesting facts about the metal Platinum. For
instance, many Wrappers rather have Platinum teeth rather
than thier regular self-grown teeth. If you ask me, thats
rather weird. Another fact is that Platinum is eight times
more exspensive than gold. The metal Platinum also Boils at
3827.0 c , 6920.6 F. It's melting point is 1772.0 c, and
3221.6 F.

Uses:
Amazingly there are many
uses of Platinum. It' s Not only used for jewelery but is
also used for crucibles, dental crowns,
Anti-tumors,
and fake teeth. This metal is most commonly used as jewelery
but is also often used as dental crowns. People prefer
plati9num over gold when needing a dental
crown.
