Welcome To Your Learning Community
It is an honor and a pleasure to serve as the Superintendent of your school district, where students are successful for many reasons, many of which include their own skills, work ethic, curiosity, and creativity. Our entire staff of professionals, who directly teach your children or who support that teaching, put forth great effort to see that every student succeeds. I am grateful to work and live in a community that places a very high priority on the active support of children and education. This community does so with its time, energy, and money. It has consistently supported teaching and learning at the polls when the Board of Trustees and District leadership have called upon the community for that kind of support.
We are all very proud of the outstanding academic performance of our students on many measures; and we are equally proud of their outstanding performance in areas that are more difficult to measure, but contribute significantly to a well-rounded, high quality, comprehensive education. Some of those areas include the visual and performing arts, environmental stewardship, and service to community.
This all happens because
of a united, proactive learning community made up of students, staff, parents,
and community members. I encourage you
to spend time in your schools if you don’t do so already and see quality
