  • School Bus Pilot Program Launch

    We are pleased to announce that the district, in partnership with the City of Mill Valley, the County of Marin, and Marin Transit, is launching a school bus pilot program to commence with the 2016-17 school year. We have created a new website, which contains information about how to purchase a bus pass, routes, and FAQs. Bus passes go on sale this Monday, May 23 at 10 a.m.

  • Kiddo!

    Friday, May 6 is Donation Day, the district-wide kickoff of Kiddo!’s 2016-17 campaign year. Kiddo!, the Mill Valley Schools Community Foundation, makes it possible for our district to bring art, music, dance, drama, poetry and much more to our schools! Learn more on how you can get involved!

  • New Tam Valley Elementary School Principal

    We are pleased to announce the appointment of Laura R. Garroway Myers as Principal of Tam Valley Elementary School beginning in the 2016-2017 school year. She will follow Gail van Adelsberg, who is retiring at the end of this year.

  • Speaker Series

    Last month, we had the great honor of having Steven Johnson, New York Times best selling author, and the host of the PBS science show, “How We Got to Now,” for an exceptional talk at MVMS! Mr. Johnson spoke to our 8th graders about curiosity, science, technology and writing! Watch his talk, and learn how one of our 8th graders made this all happen! Thank you, Steven Johnson!
