    MVSD graduate and podcast creator Kai Bernstein-Lawler (currently a senior at Jewish Community High School of the Bay) documents his day-to-day experiences of living with ADHD and some of his takeaways from his interviews (with an expert and adults living with ADHD) in the hopes of helping to create a deeper understanding of people with ADHD.

    It Takes A Village, Mill Valley School District's Special Education PTA, recognizes and supports challenges in parenting and educating children with learning differences. Membership dues are $20 per person. Students can be members. (ITAV provides free memberships to MVSD teachers, administrators and other service providers.)

    Additional donations will help fund educational seminars for parents, professional development for teachers and programs for students.

    OPEN TO MVSD GENERAL ED TEACHERS, SPECIAL ED TEACHERS, SLPS, OTS, PSYCHS AND COUNSELORS
     
    Rolling Application Deadline 
    ITAV will consider all requests for materials, training, and curriculum related to MVSD students. This means anything from a professional development opportunity to curriculum to books and materials & supplies. Visit the ITAV Mini-Grant online form for more details and to apply!

    ITAV welcomes you to join other MVSD parents for our FIRST FRIDAY CONNECT series. First Friday Connect parent group, held the first Friday of each month (currently via Zoom), offers an informal community where talking about the challenges of parenting and academics is welcome!
