Math Games to Play at Home
These are games we play in class to build number skills.

Roll two dice and graph the sum. The game is over when one column reaches the top. Make a prediction of which number will reach the top first.
Print and cut apart the Number Cards below. Follow these instructions to play the game. For a challenge, play Make Ten Memory with the cards face down.
Use these cards for Make Ten. Print and cut apart. Or use a deck of regular playing cards. Aces are ones, Jacks can be zero.
Roll two dice and mark the square that has the matching sum. Alternate players and try to fill a row, column, or diagonal row first. For a challenge, play Black-Out and fill up the entire sheet. This game practices subitizing, adding and number practice.
Pick a number of pennies from 8-12. Put them into a cup and toss. Record heads and tails on the recording sheet. This game practices composing and decomposing numbers.
