    Girls are you interested in taking up running or are you already a runner? Come at lunch TODAY and check out Girls on the Run! It’s a local club that promotes running and camaraderie for teen girls. Meet the coaches and find out more in Room 1 TODAY at lunch.

     

    Sk8 Club is cancelled TODAY. 

     

    Attention anyone interested in wrestling – Tam High is hosting the Warrior Wrestling Club on Tuesdays and Thursdays on the Tam High Campus from 3:30 – 5:30 in Ruby Scott Gym. Practices start this week and run until June. For more information visit Warrior Wrestling Club Marin on Facebook.

     

    Thank you students for all your hard work bringing in hygiene supplies, sorting them out and then packing them yesterday! Together, you made it possible for MVMS to donate 320 kits to the Marin Mobile Showers program! They are so grateful for your generosity and care in providing hygiene supplies for people across Marin County who would otherwise go without. You are making a big difference in their lives. Thank you and well done!

    Students! Participate in our Hygiene kits for the Homeless event TODAY at lunch in the Conference Room. Help assemble personal care kits for those who don’t have a place to live. Everyone is welcome to come and help!

     

    Mathletes will meet on Wednesday at lunch in room 3. See you there!

     

    The 7th Grade Dance will be rescheduled to a later date. 

     

    GSA meets TODAY in Room 4. Everyone is welcome!

     

    Dungeons and Dragons Club meets TODAY in Room 32!

    Thank you to everyone who signed up to bring items for our Hygiene kits for the Homeless event. Please bring them in by TODAY. There is a collection bin at the front desk and volunteers will be taking items in the pickup lane on Monday morning as well. Kits will be assembled Tuesday, March 10th at lunch in the Conference Room. Everyone is welcome to come and help!

     

    Remember the Track and Field informational meeting TODAY Monday, March 9th after school in the activity room in the Gym. Registration is open and you can sign up online from the school website.

     

    Mathletes is cancelled today. We will meet on Wednesday at lunch in room 3 instead. See you there!

    Calling all students interested in Track and Field! There will be an informational meeting on Monday, March 9th after school in the activity room in the Gym. Registration is open and you can sign up online from the school website.

     

    Attention 8th Graders who are attending Tam High next year: AVID is a high school class where students learn brain hacks, career and college pathways, and go on college field trips. Anyone interested in hearing more about the AVID program or would like to apply for the AVID program should go to the Conference Room TODAY during lunch. 

     

    Remember the lunchtime Library use rules: You need to have finished eating and be in the Library by 12:25pm and remain there for the rest of the lunch period, otherwise you need to remain outside during lunch. There is no loitering in the hallways or restrooms!

     

    8th Graders! Are you interested in being part of the Cheer squad at Tam High next year? There is an informational meeting next Tuesday, March 10th after school at Tam High. Details are on the bulletin board in the front office!

You are expected to be on your best behavior and show appropriate respect and appreciation for your peers who have worked so hard on this production. Anyone who is asked to leave due to poor behavior choices will face consequences up to and including loss of end-of-year activities. 6th grade will see it TODAY and 7th & 8th grades tomorrow.

     

    Remember to FINISH your lunch (and clean it up) BEFORE you come out to the field. There is no food allowed on the field.

     

    If you haven’t already, power down COMPLETELY your cellphones and other personal electronics and put them in your backpack for the school day. This means they are NOT on silent, vibrate or airplane mode.

    Help us find the next All-School Read book! List your suggestions on the posters outside the library in the hallway through February 28. We are looking for great books that are fun to read that 6th, 7th AND 8th graders might enjoy.
