    Where is that favorite sweatshirt, lunchbox or water bottle? It might be in the Lost and Found! Check it out and claim what’s yours before it’s all donated on November 21st!

     

    Diabolos are available only until Friday! Stop by the PE portable 84 or the office and pick one up for just $25, cash or check. Velvety carry bags are also on sale for $10!

     

    We are just two days away from the BIG REVEAL of the 2020 MVMS Cabaret. If you want to participate, find out all you need to know about auditions, rehearsals, and performances on Thursday, November 14th at LUNCH in the GYM.  SEE YOU THERE!

    “Honoring a Veteran on Veterans Day can mean nothing more than a simple acknowledgment and a sincere thank you, one human being to another.”

    In observance of Veterans Day, school will be closed on Monday, November 11th. 

    This is it!!! The FINAL DAY of our annual Off to the Races fundraiser! Please turn in all of your sold ticket stubs and money TODAY at the office. The Grand Prix race will be run TODAY at lunch! Come out and cheer on those racers! 

    The drawing for the fabulous raffle winners and announcement of the final top sellers will take place on Tuesday, November 12th

    Top selling Panther Time class also be named and will get a popsicle party!

    Attention all Mathletes...there is a mandatory meeting today at lunch in room 3.  Please attend and bring your permission slips if you haven't turned them in already.  We need to discuss some vital information about our first meet which is Tuesday. See you at lunch today!

     

    Journalism/newspaper club was cancelled this week, but please submit rough drafts of your stories and/or photos to the Journalism Club Classroom site by Monday night.

    “The great thing in this world is not so much where we stand, as in what direction we are moving: To reach the port, we must sail sometimes with the wind and sometimes against it, but we must sail, and not drift, nor lie at anchor.”

    Here’s the lowdown on the final days of our annual fundraiser:
    - We’re still looking to boost those sales to our goal, so turn in tickets and money through the rest of this week at the office and you can still pick up more tickets to sell if you need them. We can do it Panthers!

    - Last chance to turn in your tickets and money will be Friday!

    - Our Grand Prix Race qualifiers are posted in the hallway. If your name is there, bring your racer with fresh batteries to the racecourse on Friday at lunch! Everyone else come cheer on your favorite racer! Prizes for the racers and the winner!

    Fundraising news:  We are on the home stretch of our At the Races annual fundraiser! Turn in tickets and money TODAY, tomorrow and Thursday at lunch- and get a treat! Last chance to turn in your tickets and money is Friday, November 8th in the office. Our grand prix race qualifiers will be announced on Wednesday and then the race will be run on Thursday at lunch. The drawing for the fabulous prizes and announcement of the final top sellers will take place on Tuesday, November 12th! Keep going Panthers!

    Please come to the office and pick up your Yellow School Bus Tickets.

    Fall fundraiser news: Hey Panthers we’ve got a new top dog in town: Ms. Poletti’s Panther Time class is the top seller as of today with 200 tickets sold. The top individual seller is still an 8th grader with 80 tickets sold followed by two sixth graders with 60 and 50 tickets each. Just 5 more days left to sell! We’re running behind on sales- let’s all do our best to get the funding for those amazing programs, materials and services that the PTSA provides at MVMS every year! If you need more tickets, need to turn in tickets or are planning on racing....it’s all happening at lunch TODAY! Popsicles for anyone turning in tickets today!

     

    GSA meets TODAY at lunch in the multimedia room. Everyone is welcome!

     

    The office has MANY Yellow School Bus Tickets that have been purchased but not picked up! Please come to the office and get them!

     

    Intramural Volleyball news: Games start Monday at lunch. Please see schedule posted at Ms. Palmer’s classroom 84. To allow the teams to focus, there are no spectators allowed. Let the games begin!

    Fall fundraiser news: Have tickets to turn in? Need more tickets to sell? Look for the tables at lunch tomorrow and Friday! As of today, the top seller is still an 8th grader with 80 tickets, but those 6th graders are closing in…Top Panther Time class is Filipof...for now! Check out the tallies on the posters around campus. Bring your racers with fresh batteries for tomorrow too!

     

    The office has MANY Yellow School Bus Tickets that have been purchased but not picked up! Please come to the office and get them!

     

    Students! Remember that there is no bike riding, skateboarding or scootering on campus at any time. You may carefully ride your bike to the racks in the morning, but not through the 7th & 8th grade areas.

     

    All intramural volleyball teams please meet in the gym at lunch on Thursday. That’s ALL teams- the gym at lunch Thursday. Let the games begin!
