Check it out this Friday at lunch!

All Student Council candidates are to come to Mr. O’Dea’s room 85 at lunch TODAY to practice your speeches! You’ll be addressing your constituents next week and Student Council elections will be held on Friday, October 4th.

All Students: You should only be in the restrooms while actively using the facilities. Please do not loiter or eat in the restrooms.

Students: If you have a locker assigned to you and have decided you are not going to use it, please let Ms. Gamboa in the office know so that she can reassign it to someone else who needs one. If you are using your locker by yourself and you’re willing to share it, let Ms. Gamboa know and we’ll get you a locker partner!

Hey, Everybody! The All School Read begins next Monday, September 16th, and we are kicking it off this Friday with a visit from the author, Kate Messner. Ms. Messner will speak to us in grade level assemblies in the gym. Here’s an interesting fact about the author of our All School Read:

Kate Messner lives in upstate New York on Lake Champlain, near where the book Breakout is set. When she is not writing or talking to readers about her books, she is busy trying to summit all 46 high peaks in the Adirondack mountains. She thinks the first step to being a good writer is living an adventurous life!

Listen up 6th graders! 8th grade WEB Leaders here! We hope you have had a great first few weeks of middle school. In fact, we would like to meet with you to hear all about it! There will be a MANDATORY lunch time event TODAY in the 6th grade area. You will have lunch and check in with your WEB Leader from 12:05 to 12:30. Bring your lunch out to the 6th grade area after the bell and look for your WEB Leader & your group number. Think you forgot who your leader is or what group you are in? Check the lists located outside Mr. Nelson's office to find out. We can't wait to see you there!
