Park School Principal Survey

A Message From the Mill Valley School District Superintendent, Dr. Kimberly Berman

Hello Park School Community,
It is my pleasure to join the Mill Valley School District as your Superintendent. On behalf of the Board of Trustees, we will strive for excellence as we focus on hiring a Principal to lead Park School.
The Principal of Park School employment process will include multiple steps. This opening is currently posted nationally and statewide to recruit for the very best candidates. The posting will close mid July. Qualified applicants will be provided the next requirement for advancement in the process, which is to create a video introduction stating their philosophy and interest in the position at Park School.
Interviews for candidates will be held during the second half of July. A panel will be comprised of teachers, staff, parents, PTA leadership, district leaders, and a Mill Valley principal. Candidates will engage in a writing sample, case study, and panel interview process as well as follow up reference checks and final round interviews. Interviews and reference checks will be concluded the last week of July and an announcement will be forthcoming in early August.
This survey link is intended for the Park School community to provide feedback so that the Mill Valley School District has input from staff, parents, and students as we move through the process of identifying candidates to invite to participate in the panel interviews this summer. Thank you for providing your anonymous feedback. As your superintendent, I will be reading all comments, and I appreciate your time reflecting on these important questions.
Park School has a history of excellence, and I am confident we will build upon that. Hiring and retaining a highly-qualified leader for Park School is a top priority, and on behalf of the Board of Trustees, I will do everything necessary to support this transition for the school community.
Yours in Education,
Dr. Kimberly Berman
