Announcing Strawberry Point's New Principal: Kimberley Russell

Dear Strawberry Point School Community,

On behalf of the Board of Trustees, it is my pleasure to announce Strawberry Point School’s very own Kimberley Russell as the new Principal of Strawberry Point School. We are confident that the Strawberry Point School staff, students, and community will continue to thrive under Ms. Russell’s leadership.

She fits the attributes that the staff and community desire in their leader; someone who is student-centric, a community builder, a skilled mediator, globally-minded, engaged in her work, collaborative, a communicator, supportive, visible, knows the school culture, empathetic, caring, and kind, and much more.

We will now begin the process for transition. We will be posting for our first grade teacher position and Mrs. Russell will provide specific details to these current students’ families. We are hopeful that Mrs. Russell will be fully serving in her new role by the beginning of November. Thank you for being part of our rigorous hiring process through your feedback and input.

We would like to surprise the students during tomorrow morning’s announcements (if school is still in session depending on PG&E Power Shut Offs), so please refrain from sharing this exciting news with your child.

Yours in Education,
Dr. Kimberly Berman
