Mill Valley School District

Community Financial Advisory Committee (CFAC)

The Mill Valley School District is reestablishing our Community Financial Advisory Committee (CFAC) — and we invite community members to apply.

We have had a CFAC in the past, and we are now bringing this important element back into our financial planning strategy to help guide the long-term financial health of the District.

CFAC advises the Superintendent by reviewing budget trends, analyzing financial data, and supporting community understanding of school funding and sustainability.

We’re seeking Mill Valley residents and registered voters with experience or interest in finance, budgeting, policy, or financial planning who are willing to serve a two-year term. Meetings are held approximately once per month.

This is a meaningful opportunity to lend your expertise and help ensure a strong financial future for our schools and students.
