Other Before and After School Programs to Consider

MV Parks and Recreation Enrichment Programs

Mill Valley Recreation's After School Enrichment Program was developed over 20 years ago to establish programming for Kindergarten - 5th grade students.  As a successful outcome of the 1995 partnership between the Recreation Department, the Mill Valley School District, and community members, the Mill Valley Enrichment Program continues to provide well-rounded recreational and educational programs for elementary and middle school students.

Courses are open to all public, private and home school students. Specialty enrichment classes are offered on five school campus sites for students K-5th grade. We also offer daily after school care at the Mill Valley Community Center for K-5th students. Visit their site here.

Supervised Play at Old Mill

Mill Valley Recreation is providing supervision and enrichment activities in a designated “Play Zone” at the Old Mill Multi-Purpose Room 9/9/2024 - 6/13/2025 for K-5th graders who attend Old Mill. The Supervised Play is our Afterschool Program offered at Old Mill. Your child will participate in recreation games, arts & crafts activities, outdoor play, homework time (not tutoring), and enrichment activities during program hours. 2-day, 3-day, and 5-day options available.

For more information about programs & classes, and how to register, call Mill Valley Recreation at (415) 383-1370 or email Natalie Beyer, Recreation Coordinator at nbeyer@cityofmillvalley.gov.
