Joint Statement from Mill Valley Teachers’ Association & Mill Valley School District

After productive and collaborative bargaining sessions, we are pleased to announce that the Mill Valley Teachers Association (MVTA) and the Mill Valley School District (MVSD) have reached a tentative agreement.

MVSD and MVTA have agreed to terms for the 2026–2027 school year. On June 15, 2026, MVTA will present the tentative agreement to its membership for discussion and ratification. Once the agreement has been ratified by MVTA, the MVSD and MVTA will issue a joint announcement outlining the terms of the agreement.

Both parties are pleased to have reached this agreement and recognize the hard work and dedication of their respective negotiating teams. In addition, both parties appreciate the value of completing this process before the end of the school year and look forward to continuing their collaborative partnership in support of students, staff, and the school community.
