Our early intervention program offers identification, services, education, and support to 3-5 year old students who are evaluated and determined eligible for special education services. The purpose of early intervention is to lessen the effects of disability or delay. Services are designed to identify and meet a child's needs in five developmental areas, including physical development, cognitive development, communication, social or emotional development, and adaptive development. Within the district, we offer non-intensive, class-based services to eligible students in our classroom, which is currently located at Park School. For students who require a more intensive program, we partner with the Marin County Office of Education, which operates regionalized early intervention classrooms for students with more significant needs.
