Panther Time- 8th grade

Jazz Combo- Wednesdays, 2:15-3:00

Jazz Band- Thur/Fri, 7:40-8:30am

Required Materials:

Advanced Guitar- Hal Leonard Guitar Method Book 2/ same as above

Concert Band-  You will need to own a copy of the Standard of Excellence book 1 and book 2.  The Magic Flute should have these in stock, but you may want to call ahead.  You can also find them on Amazon or JW Pepper (800-345-6296)

CALENDAR:
The Calendar is Subject to Change!!! Please check back occasionally for updates.  We will wear our music dept. shirts and khaki pants to all performances.  Contact me if you need to purchase a shirt or would like to borrow one for a performance.  I also have a limited number of khaki pants to borrow.

February: Jazz Band Tour to MVSD Elementary Schools (dates and times TBD)

Friday, March 28th: CMEA Band Festival (Intermediate/Advanced) @ El Cerrito High School, leaving at lunch

Wednesday, May 7th-Saturday May 10th: Overnight Field Trip to Anaheim

7th and 8th graders in Chorus, orchestra, and jazz band

Depart Wednesday 5/7 at 12:00 PM

Return Saturday 5/10 at 7:00 PM

Monday, June 4th: Spring Band Concert (Advanced/Intermediate/Jazz)- 7:30pm
