Welcome to the MVMSParent, Teacher, Student Association (PTSA)The PTSA meets monthly on the 3rd Thursday of most months,and on the 4th Thursday in February and April.Dates for 2018/19 are: 9/20, 10/25, 11/15, 12/20, 1/17, 2/14, 3/21, 4/18 and 5/23.Meetings are held in the conference room off the library at 9 am (unless otherwise noted)
MVMS PTSA funds many programs and services, including books and furniture for the MVMS Library, classroom supplies, teacher mini-grants, technology apps, before-school programs, equipment for sports teams, social/emotional programs, the yearbook, journalism, "Community First" service programs, the WEB ("We Each Belong") program, health education, parent education, mentoring programs, teacher appreciation, parent/daughter and parent/son dances, emergency preparedness, and so much more. The PTSA also publishes the Panther Press twice monthly, and emails it to subscribing parents.

The PTSA also coordinates and staffs events & programs, including photo day, MVMS Off To The Races (formerly known as Pig Races), Panther Café volunteers, Lost & Found, emergency preparedness, 6th, 7th and 8th Grade dances, "Community First" service programs, birthday books, the art show, the book fair, communications, and 8th Grade Graduation...to name a few.
